N/S Houston Texans pick David Culley to be head coach (1 Viewer)

Time will tell. He has coached NFL level football for many years so he has experience. Lovie had some good defenses in Chicago so maybe he can turn that unit around too.

If I'm not mistaken, Lamar won MVP in Culley's first year with the team and many were surprised he could pass the ball as well as he did. I don't know how much he had to do with that though.

What a joke. That's about the nicest thing I can say.

Wasn't this guy the "passing game coordinator" on a team that finished dead last in passing and passing attempts?
His tenure as a positional coach includes being the WR coach for a Chiefs offense that scored zero WR touchdowns, being the QB coach for Josh Allen's 10/12 TD/INT rookie season, and being the passing-game coordinator of the Ravens most recently.
