The Saints still have NEVER trailed in a game. NO team has come close to defeating the Saints. The dolphins are 2-3, and they beat two teams with horrible passing games, and trying to run, played into the strength of the dolphins defense. Brees will soften up that defense with the Saints passing game, which will open up the run. Play action pass will kill the dolphins today.

The 2009 Saints are a team of excellence. They may set NFL records for scoring this season, with probably a few others as well. That offensive line has been great.

True, we love the Saints but back to your question. Wouldn't you pick the Dolphins if you were a Fins fan? Heck, I picked the Saints to win every game last year and we all know how that worked out.

Coming off a big win, to an away game with a team who can run the ball very well, it has let down game written all over it. Good thing us Saints fans know this team is more focused than they have ever been and will not let this be a let down game.

Ive been searching the web this morning and it is humorous how many are picking the Dolphins just because of the Wildcat.Their defense isnt good and you cant run the Wildcat in catch up mode.We will see.

When I see TV personalities pick against the Saints, I think they just want to get right a pick that everyone thinks is going to be wrong. Its just the off-chance that they are correct then they can tell everyone how awesome they are.

People still don't believe the Saints are for real. That's fine, if they don't wanna give the Saints respect, they'll just have to take it.

You're right. But things happen. That's why they actually play the games on the field, and not on paper.

But I do think, if the Saints play their game, they will be 6-0 coming out of it.

As for Berman, he does a much better job promoting weight loss products with his buddies Shula and Marino, than he does analyzing football.

Because they can win.

They were maybe one or two plays away from beating the Colts.

They have a stong defense and runninng game and are capable of keeping the Saints offense off the field.

Capable. Doesn't mean they will succeed for 60 minutes. But they should be taken seriously.

I understand the "Any Given Sunday" and "Well, the Raiders beat the Eagles" arguments but the bottom line is that the Dolphins need to play a perfect game and the Saints will have to have mistakes in order for the Dolphins to beat them.

So, if you are playing the law of averages, as an objective observer you have to look at this game and say that the Saints are easily the favorite here. If your argument is that the Wildcat can help them own the time of possession, my argument is, so what? They had the ball 45 minutes in a 60 minute game and still lost to the Colts who are a better team, just like the Saints are clearly a better team.

Secondly, how is the Wildcat going to actually stop our offense? And is the Wildcat going to be effective if the Dolphins find themselves down 28-3 because our offense is scoring and our defense actually forces a couple of turnovers?
