LOL

Kyle Shanahan's playcalling and his playaction/misdirection is going to destroy the Saints

***minimum 7 wide open broken coverage scoring plays for 49ers
***Down 21 pts , DA still will not put Winston in the game

We would probably need to get a big play or score from our defense and/or special teams. Their defense is really good and will make us earn every single yard. This would have to be a total team win where we steal a possession or two from them and actually make them pay for it with TDs, not field goals. Jimmy G isn't going to beat anyone by himself if Shanahan is forced away from the running game.

With a bat. While they sleep.
Speaking of a "BAT"; Where ARE the "BAT GAMES"? Coach SP was a genius @ finding ways to motivate and excite the "Warrior Spirit" of our players and I'll never forget Reggie running onto the field with his black bat inscribed with "Victory" (or some such saying?) in Gold ! Those were some seriously delirious days of SAINTS HISTORY! How far back they seem now! Can't C DA making those sorts of moves!

A whole sequence of events would have to fall into place -

1. The Niners overlook the Saints. They do have tough matchups against teams with winning records over the next couple weeks.

2. Dennis Allen and PC Jr. come up with solid game plans to slow down the Niners incredibly fast Offense and Defense.

3. The Saints play mistake free football. They have no chance of winning if they lose the turnover battle.

All three have to happen for the Saints to win. Chances are very low. In fact I have zero faith No. 2 alone. The chance the Niners blow out the Saints in an injury filled disaster (the Niners are cheap shot artists under the delusion that it makes them “tough”) are very high.

49ers are playing better football than we are at this point, we are beating teams that are not playing good football so I expect us to lose this game because we are not playing good football at least not to the standard set by Coach Payton, this is a new standard of football lead by a lessor coach.

Would need a Jimmy G meltdown game where he just implodes and commits 3+ turnovers. Maybe one for a score.

In this scenario two of Lattimore, Cam, Davenport would need to be active and healthy enough to make an impact.

Atlanta was able to produce turnovers and used their running QB just enough to move the chains. Maybe if we have all hands on defense and Taysom has a big game we might have a chance. I would bet big money on SF covering the spread though.

Unfortunately not much of a chance this week! The only way I see the Saints having a chance is winning the turnover battle by 2 or 3, leading to short field TD’s not FG’s. Tough challenge but on any given Sunday…

This ^

Saints need to win the turnover battle convincingly and own field position on both sides AND score TDs

Defense is going to get totally dismantled horizontally and challenged vertically oh and cmac is there now.... The DL absolutely no question MUST show up this game and dominate the LOS.

True story, there's a small lot near where I live where us kids would play football or baseball. One time we decided to do a home run derby. Before every at bat I'd roll the bat on the ground and pray to Jobu. I think it worked because I came in 2nd. It's not 1st but it's not last.
