It's putting URL tags in your copy and paste when it shouldn't, for some reason.

I have problems posting videos also. I just started having that recently. They come up the same way and I have everything there.

If I had to hazard a guess, I'd say that there's some part of the code in certain vids which the SR.com bulletinboard software sees as a web address and it puts URL tags around those sections, rendering the imbeds useless.

A couple of times, I've copied and pasted some writing which contained a combination of symbols, usually dates with colons, which the SR.com board software immediately translated as smilies.

I have had that happen as well.

When I try to post a video, it comes up like this every time, no matter the video.

Yeah, see where it's putting that grey block with the dot in the middle? When you look at the full text, that's where the URL tags are getting inserted somehow.

This should solve the problem.

Click on "user cp" above.

Click "edit options" from the side menu.

Scroll to bottom and select "standard editor" -- it is likely currently on "enhanced."

Save changes.

Try and embed a video again.
