A loss has ruined plenty of Monday’s of mine but as a life long Saints I’ve always found myself ready for the next game by end of week! After a loss I usually shut out all football stuff until the next game.
Easy there , Felonious Monk ....grab some kids from the neighborhood and have them sleep in another room ...
I was never a football fan. I know very little about the rules. My ex was a die hard Saints fan since the Aints years. And yet in Lancaster PA, he still represented, and held his head high, wearing Saints gear. We've long broken up, and somehow I have become a Saints fan. I was researching teams, trying to see who I could become emotionally attached to. Studied the Steelers (love that city and the fans), the Eagles (been to the games..don't care for it). So I decided on the Saints some years ago when I could not sleep after a loss. I found my emotional attachment.
So now I am almost unable to watch their games. I can hardly stand the stress. TB was the only game I felt comfortable enough to watch.
How do you do it???? And now we have the Bears!!!
All I do is listen to sports radio, hoping to hear about the Saints.
Many games, where the stress is too much, I have to turn the TV off and just look for updates here.
And we bought the nfl package so I could watch the Saints.
Valium and Xanex cocktail taken in an IV... I kid but sometimes I think the Saints are a contributing factor to my high blood pressure, along with the Air Force!I was never a football fan. Oh, no!! Unless you are a chicken little, stay out of the Gameday thread (too negative for me). Just above is a "chat" button and then you hit "browse rooms" and go to "Game Day Chat". Usually just a handful of us are there right at game time but then builds up to about 12 + chatters.Of course I know Red Lion, and York. ? Where do I find game day chat? Is that on the game day thread?
My excitement for and desire to watch the Saints and cheer them to victory outweighs my fear and anxiety. That’s how I do it. Sometimes it does require an adult beverage or five.

Can I stream that online? The Saints home radio broadcast is a great way to take in the games (WWL).
This is since the Payton/Brees era. They are what made me fall in love with the team, in spite of knowing/caring nothing about football. And now I've become a monster!!Before or since the Payton/Brees era? Before= lots and lots of alcohol....Since= edge of my seat cardio machine at hand... LOL
