has anyone ever heard someone say "rurn" instead of "ruin"???

yes, like "urn" with an "r" in front

my mom says that.....i don't know where it came from because i have never actually heard anyone say it other than her

I'll have to test my mom on that one. I get big kick out of hearing her try to say "rural."

Yes, I have. In Mississippi I hear it all the time. In fact, when people describe stuff as being ruined, they call it "rurnt." Yes, I know. :covri:
