How long should you leave ribs on the grill? (1 Viewer)

he has a recipie for a honey-type glaze.....it's quite tasty....

i have it somewhere at my house....

Hook me up if you ever find it. I'm always down for a new glaze. I usually make a teryaki/pineapple glaze, kind of like the ones at Zea's.

no problem.....

i also have a bottle of zea's thai rib sauce in my fridge :9:

yo colin, i found the recipie....it's still in my hotmail account...it's no family secret, so i will post it here

HONEY SWEET & SOUR RIBS (Sticky Ribs)
8 pounds pork spare ribs
½ cup vinegar
1 cup catsup
½ cup water
½ teaspoon black pepper
½ cup soy sauce
½ cup honey
1 clove garlic (minced)
½ teaspoon seasoned salt (Tony’s)

Cut ribs into serving portions. Simmer, covered, in vinegar and enough water to cover in a large kettle for 1 hour. Drain.

While ribs are cooking, combine catsup, water, soy sauce, honey, garlic, pepper, and seasoned salt in a large saucepan. Cook over very low heat, stirring occasionally, for 45 minutes or until thick. May take longer. Don’t cook too fast or it will burn

Arrange ribs in single layer on grill 6-8 inches from hot coals; grill for 20-30 minutes, basting with the sauce and turning often until ribs are glazed.

Yeah but how far is that from you?

I'm at LSU and it's on Drusilla so that would be a nice drive for lunch.. .but I could "pass" by there on the way home...

I've never had Voodoo BBQ.. is it really good?

thanks for posting.. those sound pretty slammin'

Boiling them in a some water and a little crawfish boil makes for some good ribs.

This is the only way I do 'em. Then throw those bad boys in the grill to get the smokey, applewood flavoring, with the crisp outside. Delicious.

yo antipop

what the hell is catsup? :hihi:
