How long should you leave ribs on the grill? (1 Viewer)

I cook my steaks over wood and charcoals. With my charcoal grill I can raise and lower the basket the wood and coals sit on, so I raise it up to get a good sear on the steaks, then lower it to finish them off.

Which reminds me, I have to buy a new smoker with that option. Mine is about to collapse into itself.

Did you take your in-laws out to the Harbor and sample some of the overpriced Dodie's?

I need to get a smaller, little handy smoker. Mines a beast. This is it, see the remote firebox on the bottom?

You can get those wooden smoking pellets (they're made of compressed wood), and make a foil packet with a hole punched in it for smoke in a gasser. Here's a link, I am unaffiliated with these people, but I got a couple packets in this BBQ event I went to, and they worked out pretty good even on a non-gas grill.
