How many draft picks do we have next year? (1 Viewer)

With this coaching staff and their apparent abilities to draft solid players in later rounds, I am confident that they will do a lot with the three extra picks on top of our regular draft picks that we have.

How do compensatory picks get awarded? Is it losing players to free agency that you originally drafted? I never understood this.

I thought that we got a 4th for Gandy with a S.

Here's another good question: Why can't we have more posts from O MAN? He's needed around here.

Just a thought, Philly gets a starting DE and WR while Atlanta gets a starting
LT. Minn. gets a starting safty. We get a 4th and possible 3rd and whatever from Atlanta. If the Saints had not started out so well, some might have considered these trades as weak by mgt. Personally, with a few exceptions I'm starting to buy into, "One pony doesn't stop a show." One of those exceptions is Drew Brees--how do you let this guy go for nothing.

One requirement for NFL teams to recieve compensatory draft picks is to lose more free agent players than it signs. Therefore ,the Saints will not be eligible for any picks.
