While he did attempt the most deep passes of any qb, most of his picks came on short to intermediate throws, with "only" 9 interceptions occuring on deep throwsHis decisions in the Bruce Arians offense:
Throw risky bomb option #1. If not open, progress to risky bomb option #2. If still not there, check down to insanely covered Hail-Mary route #3.
He executed that offense as well as anyone, but the problem wasn't the QB I don't think. But you are correct in that we can coach decision making, you can't coach the intangibles he has.

How we can fix Jameis
Are we bypassing the fact that the dude was damn near blind until a few months ago? LOL. Let's see if that helps a bit. LOLGuy has a cannon for an arm...his decision making is what needs work. You can't teach arm strength but fortunately you can teach decision making. I'd like to see him tear it up here.
That's what ya'll wanted to do to Teddy right after 9 was hurt. To rush 7 in for a permanent place. Oh, I remember. I was in the simple minority back then. Explaining how ignorant that concept wasSimple. Ship him out.
We all know that Saints players play much better once they leave...
Actually if you compare Trubiskys 2018 season to early 2000s he would have been a top 3 qb most years. Even his slump year he would've been right outside top 10. This year his ratings would have been back as a top 10 qb, for early 2000 standards. Should we try to get him in the off-season? lolYou are doubling down on them having the same stats. Different angle, same point. They are clearly not the same stats. Tribusky is probably the best QB in the league compared to a QB in the 60s.
Dungy is now a talking head and he is commenting on stats fed to him. He is no longer a head coach. He is there for commentary only.
Critically think about this for a second...
If Winston was just as good as Peyton Manning 20 years ago but a bottom 10 QB in the league now, the majority of the league is now better than Peyton Manning. So Winston was still not good.

Not that many deep interceptions, actually. So you're saying many of his INT's were like punts?
