The departmental secretary today handed me an Christmas gift, evidently from a student, because the card reads "do not open until grades are posted."

I'm flattered, but also a bit uncomfortable. I asked the secretary if this kind of thing is common/uncommon.

My only guess is that there's an LSU shirt/sweater or some other attire which will make for a good dustrag.
