Man that is a mighty lofty prediction. It would take 11 years of an average record of 11-6. I will always remember where I heard it first if it ends up happening.

well no, I likely won’t. But you will remind me lol.

Is it me or is it you? I'm no math wizard but i think ya failed Math LOL. It should only take 5 years for us to reach .500 if they average 11 wins per/yr. At your math we will win 121 games in an 11 year span which likely bumped our overall winning % into the mid to high..500s

So, if you are 54 under .500....that means you need to "net" 54 wins. Over an 11 year period, 11 wins per year is indeed 121. 6 losses per year would equal 66 losses. 121 - 66 is a net of 55 wins, which would put the Saints 1 game over .500.

you would be right if none of the losses counted against us. If we have 54 more loses than wins then we have to reverse that trend. 11-6 only “nets” you five more wins per season.

Beat me to it by a half second. Stated it better by more than that

That just shows you how bad those early Saints teams were. 54 games below 500! Jeez. Now you know why old time Saints fans are just a mass of scar tissue. Payton is working hard to get us back to even.
If it makes you feel better the Falcons are 105 games below .500

Call me crazy, but I think the Saints will finally get to .500 all time during Winston’s run as the king term QB.
If you’re wondering, the Saints at this moment are only 54 below .500 all time.
Shows you how truly terrible the organization was for so long when we're still 54 games below .500 after 15 years of winning under Payton/Brees/Loomis, etc.
