My wife and I are looking for a new bed and new pillows. We currently have a select comfort sleep number bed that we have had for several years. I’m looking for some ideas on mattresses like the Casper or purple and pillows like the my pillow or the purple ones. Any information you can give me on the items I have listed above or others that I may not be aware of are really appreciated.

I hope you are talking about the firmness of the mattress. In that case I prefer firm.
