I haven't looked at football after Saints loss. This is the first time since 2019 playoffs that I've done this

Kinda happened to me after that 49ers loss in 2011. It brews for a couple of hours and then I'm over it. At the end of the day, it's just a game. No point in being angry/upset for an entire week when basically everyone else has moved on.

That's Bucs loss in Brees final season stung for a few days, though. Mostly because everyone, including the team, knew it was likely the end. Just a super bitter way to go out.

Man me too. The Rams no call changed how I feel about football forever. Today, for example, when Grupe missed the kick I just got up and started getting things done around the house. The family and I were laughing and I had a good day. In the past, I would have been a mess for a few days. I had to put football in perspective. It's just a game and it's one that really has zero impact on my life. It's just pure entertainment for me now. I still root hard for our guys, but a loss doesn't kill me like it used to.

Amen. Same same. I feel bad for those who get wrecked by it. I did for many decades and am embarrassed by that as I look back. Literally a game played by millionaires who switch teams all the time…just entertainment.

19 hurt me, and changed how I look at the league forever, but winning it all in 09 mellowed me. Never thought I’d live to see us win it all. All lagniappe now.

Same here. The straight up no forks given, we are just gonna not call an obvious foul, I gave up on the NFL.
