Because for the 27th consecutive season, the Dallas Cowboys won't be making an trips to the NFCCG, much less the Super Bowl!!!! Those odd, peculiar screams in and around DFWA, Plano, and Grapevine will be hearing the demented, wailing screams of an old, tottering senile, bitter billionaire realizing that he can't buy nor dictate a Super Bowl based on just his whims alone.
Since Bill Clinton's first term as POTUS, and gas prices just barely above $1.00/gallon, and the most popular TV series was the Fresh Prince of Bel-Air and Friends, the Cowboys are just another mediocre, treadmill team who make the postseason every few years or so, maybe wins in the WC round, but lose once the Divisional Round comes around, they get beat and sent home.
Where they belong. Where they've always belonged, and where they'll continue to stay.
Year after year after year after year. 25, 26, and now 27 straight times in a row.
