And they're really, really, really bright. I'm getting a tan as we speak.

Nice, what little I've seen of it. This semester has been uber-crazy because it was my first. Haven't had much time or opportunity to do much.

I really like the area though.

That means they definitely plan to keep you around at least through the end of the school year.

An etched metal nametag, on the other hand, would mean they want to keep you on a long-term basis.

I hate sensor lights. I had them in my old office. If you are somewhat still for a period of time...off go the the lights. Then you have to wave your arm to get it to turn back on. When we moved into our new digs, I made sure that my office did not have sensor lights.
