I haven't seen the media or anyone bring this up: But McCain is old. (1 Viewer)

I think his mother is still alive and in her 90's and gets around ok.

I think I saw something about that on TV.

he may live a long time.

Yep, here's him and his mother on Hardball. Must be weird to be 72 and have your Mom still sticking up for you. :hihi:

Chuck Norris (67) Apologises About McCain (71) Age Comment

"I made a mistake there, I got personal and I should be sticking with the facts. I called John and apologised but his mom can still wash my mouth out with soap but I want a hug and a kiss afterwards."

It's just a matter of time before the list includes:

"Chuck Norris is so tough, he actually enjoys the taste of soap."

OR

"When the soap got a smart mouth, it got put in Chuck Norris' mouth as a punishment."

His age has been brought up quite a bit in the media.

But if he has his mother's genetics, then it shouldn't be a big deal.

McCain is an interesting and likeable candidate. IMO, the biggest concern about him is not his age but his temperament.

LOL, she looks good for 95!

I wonder how old his dad was when he passed away?

The age thing is already a factor, it would appear from this video.

My friends, I hope that if he wins, the first thing he does is propose legislation that we must refer to each other as 'my friend.' Failure to do so could result in a 3-5 prison sentence, my friends.

The Hucksters response to Chuck's original statement in the last debate is one of my favorite Presidential debate moments ever.

Check out Anna Quinlan's column in this week's Newsweek.

This just increases the importance of a good, strong VP...
Iraq is a HUGE difference...

normally i'd agree, but what good is that when he agrees to illegal alien amnesty, doesn't secure the borders, and compromises on fiscal policy and doesn't lead government spending cuts?

Don't mean to sound cruel, but it just strikes me that this guy could bite the dust during the next 8 years. Nor would it surprise me. If I was a betting man...

Haven't seen it in the media or heard of anyone bringing it up?..... this is "old" news...pun intended.

Lots of press on this over the past few week....it started when Chuck Norris initially brought it; then it was part of the Presidential debate. The news outlets covered it plenty after Hucakabee's response. Some barbs exchanged about Rambo versus Chuck Norris. McCain's momma got into the mix.

My recollection is this has been brought up a few times over the past few years as well.

Iraq is a HUGE difference...

Yes and No. Hillary and Obama have left themselves a big out by both saying they will leave "some" troops there for strategic purposes. "Some" can be anything they want it to be and, I suspect, in the end the policy won't be that much different especially between McCain and Hillary.

The real difference is McCain is honest about his Iraq policy and isn't playing semantic games to pacify his base.

Any one voting for McCain might as well vote for Hillary or Obama, there isn't a great difference.

Huh? There is a huge difference. McCain is practically a Libertarian, where as Hillary and Obama are clearly both very Populist.
