if you want to recline you have to 'rent' the space from the person behind you
they don't get to veto, but you get charged $20 and that $20 gets credited to the acct that paid that ticket OR you can opt for voucher from airline?

you're welcome
who's got an in with the faa?

I know, because every time I get on a plane, I can't wait for the pilot's permission to move my body position a full two inches.

The plane seat arm chair recliner ranks second on my list of world's most useful features, trailing only nonalcoholic beers.
in first, it’s like three inches (twss).

The airline would just sell veto’s for 40, and veto overrides for 80.

I'm thinking the most comfortable arrangment that is also space efficient is a bunch of lie down pods, like in the 5th element.

Could be manageable with VR or people that want to sleep anyway

Fly Jet Blue. All that leg room, who cares about the person in front of me reclining.

In all seriousness, the airlines shrinking the distance between rows is what is causing this issue. It was always ok to recline. now it's a problem?
