Again, a big part of why no deal will happen is because the team is moving on from Demps and they want the next GM to drive the ship on this deal. You can't just hire a new GM in 2 weeks mid season. Its clear the ownership has told Demps he is not doing a deal unless they feel that LA has given them the house.

That has nothing to do with it. The smart thing to do, no matter who is GM, is to wait until the summer and not fall for the ESPN/Lakers/Klutch strong arm.

So far they haven't caved. As much as people overly rag on Dell, he has almost always been extremely shrewd when it comes to trades.

Randle can leave after this season. Moore has a year left, but a team looking for a shooter would trade for him. You move him now as part of your rebuild.
