When you get the chance to trade Hield for Boogie forking Cousins you make that trade 100 times out of 100. I understand people looking back at a trade but at the time there is no way you don't pull the trigger.

Boogie left because he wanted to bet on himself, and it’s paying off.

If he had stayed here he would have been locked into a 2 year deal paying $20MM, and then he would have entered free agency older, and potentially more hurt. Instead he took a $5MM 1yr deal, and will go into free agency as the best free agent center, with the potential to lock in a longer contract for a hell of a lot more than $20MM a year.

It was a smart move on his part, and a dumb move on ours.
