Rd 1) Mike Jenkins: According to them McKelvin and DRC is off the board. I actually like him. heres what they say

New Orleans Saints: Mike Jenkins, CB, South Florida

New Orleans' secondary is garbage. The corners can't cover anyone, while free safety Josh Bullocks has been completely awful at times. I previously had Kenny Phillips here, but the Miami free safety has seen his stock slip. Mike Jenkins, meanwhile, is a higher-rated prospect. He can only help a defense ranked 30th versus the pass.
RD 2) Dre More Love the pick 305 lbs dt who runs a 4.88 WOW
Theres:

New Orleans Saints: Dre Moore, DT, Maryland

  1. Brian Young was re-signed recently, but Hollis Thomas is looking forward to retirement so he can eat Doritos on his couch, meaning the Saints need to address the nose tackle position. They get an absolute steal in Dre Moore here. Moore, a second-round prospect before the combine, notched a dazzling 4.88 at 305 pounds.

RD 3) Thomas DeCoud: Guy is a beast possible replacement for bullocks

New Orleans Saints: Thomas DeCoud, FS, California

    1. More help for a New Orleans secondary that has looked horrendous all year. Free safety Josh Bullocks has been completely awful at times. Thomas DeCoud is an instant upgrade.
Rd 4) Shawn Crable: Absolute steal

New Orleans Saints: Shawn Crable, OLB, Michigan

More speed for New Orleans' defense. I'm not sure whom the Saints are trying to fool with Scott Fujita. Upgrade needed.

Rd 5 alli highsmith:Before you say it yes his 40 sucks but do they measure your 40 while you are playing... He's faster in pads :)
    1. saintsb_logo.gif
New Orleans Saints: Ali Highsmith, OLB, LSU

Ali Highsmith had a brutal combine, so it's possible he could fall this far, though I think he'll eventually go at the top of the fourth round. He's incredible value here, and it's not like the Saints don't need some juice at weakside linebacker.

I don't care if we take him in the second round, I would be flat-out ecstatic if we drafted Shawn Crable.

What? Well if Fujita isn't a quality LB then the Saints sure fooled me.

Yeah, comments like these weakens the credibility of the author IMO. Anyone who had done his homework would know that Fujita is our only (pre-Vilma) good linebacker.

I like it except for Jenkins, I'm not a fan of him, he has poor work ethic, not professional, i see him as a less talented Pacman Jones.

btw Fujita=Beast

Man that was the best Mock I've ever seen, it was defensive minded like we all think it should be, and it addressed needs and concerns (FS)

fujita is not that bad, but he is not an all pro linebacker. i do not see anything wrong with an upgrade if possible. did we only give up a 4th rounder in 2009? i thought it was a fourth rounder in 08 and 09.

i really dont like the round 1 pick

The NFL transactions list is as official as anything you can find. They say the deal was for a conditional 2009 draft pick...

I have checked all the official sources, it is just a 4th (conditionally) next year. Nothing this year...

That was a great mock, but we all know that the Saints aren't taking 5 straight defensive rookies in the draft. Sean Payton is still our coach.
