Rd 1) Mike Jenkins: According to them McKelvin and DRC is off the board. I actually like him. heres what they say
Theres:
New Orleans Saints: Dre Moore, DT, Maryland
-
New Orleans' secondary is garbage. The corners can't cover anyone, while free safety Josh Bullocks has been completely awful at times. I previously had Kenny Phillips here, but the Miami free safety has seen his stock slip. Mike Jenkins, meanwhile, is a higher-rated prospect. He can only help a defense ranked 30th versus the pass.
Theres:
- Brian Young was re-signed recently, but Hollis Thomas is looking forward to retirement so he can eat Doritos on his couch, meaning the Saints need to address the nose tackle position. They get an absolute steal in Dre Moore here. Moore, a second-round prospect before the combine, notched a dazzling 4.88 at 305 pounds.
RD 3) Thomas DeCoud: Guy is a beast possible replacement for bullocks- More help for a New Orleans secondary that has looked horrendous all year. Free safety Josh Bullocks has been completely awful at times. Thomas DeCoud is an instant upgrade.
More speed for New Orleans' defense. I'm not sure whom the Saints are trying to fool with Scott Fujita. Upgrade needed.
Rd 5 alli highsmith:Before you say it yes his 40 sucks but do they measure your 40 while you are playing... He's faster in pads
Ali Highsmith had a brutal combine, so it's possible he could fall this far, though I think he'll eventually go at the top of the fourth round. He's incredible value here, and it's not like the Saints don't need some juice at weakside linebacker.
