I don't recall when exactly it was run, but I believe it was 3rd and 1 around their 20.

Drew is under center, On the hike the playvappears to be a tackle run right.
All blocking goes that way.

But Drew kind of reverse pivots and pitches to Ingram going left.

It's a great design and looks beautiful.

Easily picked up a key first down.

We used to run it with Sproles, hadn't seen it in a while.

Anyone recall that play......and could anyone , more tech-savvy than I, post it?

Ur talking about the fullback fake, hb toss. Its a common play.

The play that i thought was awesome was the sweep to fleener.

We've ran it several times since Sproles. It just typically goes for negative yards so it isn't as memorable.

We used to run that play a good amount in SP's early days but it never worked. I think Drew has gotten really good at selling that play.

I really liked the touchdown pass when Drew noticed Luke was in man on Ingram. So he sends him in motion and took him completely out of the play.

Flip 90. Rams used it with fault all the time.

It probably helps that we have Kuhn who we actually give the ball to a lot so the defense has to watch for that.

.

It's a shame that so many of the other Run Plays were Very Predictable!

I will never understand why SP insists on crunching everyone tight then running into a wall.

We don't have the talent to do that, yet he keeps doing it!

We need creativity in the RUN Plays just like the Pass Plays!

.

(Not that I am saying that Every run play must be misdirectional...)

That was a fantastic play that will set up something different later on.

That play only works well when you have to respect the FB.

And the panthers have watched our last game where Kuhn really had a great day.
They were therefore keying in on Kuhn a lot...hence one of the reason why it worked so well this time

That was a thing of beauty. A literal check mate to use the chess analogy.

Yes I definitely think his game against San Diego with the three touchdowns and his short yardage work he has been getting is what made that play a success and made the Panthers respect the misdirection
