I met him at the Saints team hotel this past season when they were playing SF. He stopped by the hotel to see his old buddies. I caught him just after he finished talking to McKenzie.

I asked him to sign my copy of the Patron Saints book. He said, "but I don't play for y'all no more."
I told him, "Once a Saint. Always a Saint."
He smiled and then signed the book. Classy guy. I hope we can get him back on the roster.
