But after watching Brees, i now know how deprived i've been over the last 5 years. if only haz would have put in delhomme...what a difference it would have made!

Even Delhomme isn't that good.

I think Brooks is simply average. I used to pray he would be good, but after seeing Brees, you can see Brooks was simply average.

He also picked a stupid *** team to sign with too.

Alas Jake and Aaron, we ended up being better off without the both of you!

I drank the Kool Aid when it came to Brooks. I have never liked Jake. I LOVE what Brees brings to this team. I can even recount where I was when I heard we signed him.

Brees is by far the best QB in the NFC. Bulger is second but he's so far back he isn't even standing in Brees' shadow. Brooks put a ton of big stats and lost. Brees is putting up superior stats and is winning. Brooks acknowledged not a leader, Brees has complete command of the Offense and his teammates respect. Once teams started double and triple teaming Steve Smith, Delhomme was exposed (it is amazing just how good Steve Smith's acrobatic catches of Delhomme's crappy passes made him look). It's amazing the course of events that got Brees here and I'm thankful for every one of them.....
