and they had Mark "Stink" Schlereth and Darren Woodson talking about the NO/Dallas matchup. They were comparing every aspect and position. They gave New Orleans lots of love and even said Brees was having a MVP season. Anyway, they were showing highlights about the Saints giving up big pass plays. They showed about 5-6 and EVERY ONE of them was Fred Thomas getting burned. Now they never mentioned Fred personally but, it was kinda ironic that every play was him getting toasted. What's with him? I know the safety has let me down on some plays but, some he just got embarrassed on his own.
I don't know how we are gonna be able to cover T.O. and Glenn.
Anyway, I know most of us know that Fred has become a liability but, to see how often in just a handful of clips he is beaten was kinda scary.

I watched that as well. I think the part that made me laugh is they were talking about how great the Boys O is. Then Trey Wingo mentions in passing right before the break. "The Saints have a pretty good offense too."

Thomas was burnt because Bullocks was out of position. If you have the oppertunity to rewatch it check out how Bullocks is tring to catch up to the play because he bit on a fake

i personally feel like Payton knows about this exposition also... so i highly doubt he leaves Thomas out to dry this game... im pretty sure he's grilled Bullocks pretty hard for this upcoming game.. so i really dont expect the same things to happen..

If you watch ESPN close enough, Mark S. seems to be one of the only people that actually does research and/or watches game film. I heard an interview of his on Jim Rome a while back, and he impressed me more than any other national "expert". Sean Sailsbury is a joke, however.

The one phrase you will NEVER hear Sean Salisbury say is: "I don't have an opinion on that". Of course that is exactly why ESPN loves him.

I agree with you on Mark S. I also think Jaws is good too, especially when it comes to analyzing offenses.

I agree with you regarding that one play last week. Aside from that one play, he is getting beat deep. In watching him run, it appears that he isn't totally healthy. I am not giving him excuses, but it appears that he is struggling while attempting to get into a stride. He appears off balance and using too many chop steps. His technique is ok but he is struggling with closing and making breaks to the ball. Doesn't look healthy to me.

I would have to think that Bullocks would have to leave the run up to the front 7 and take care of his own duties. The first time I see that guy leave his CB hangin like he always does and gets burnt himself, I'm gonna freak. The dude has to learn that lesson.

Jaws is pretty good too. I'll agree with that. I like the segments where they show a piece of film, and actually discuss what happend during the play.

Some reporter on Cold Pizza dissed Fred Thomas too.

Unfortunately, he's getting a reputation in the media as being an "easy TD" for a speedy WR.

My problem is that everyone wants to blame Thomas and I do not think it is his falt. If I am correct ten Bullocks needs to play better, if you are right then the caoches have to a better job of giving him help or sitting him until he is healthy
