I wish the Saints had at least two thirds of Minnesota's roster on offense, I'm jealous (1 Viewer)

They have two wide receivers that are capable of being number 1's.
A consistent tight end along with a great running game.

Yes they still have Dalvin Cook on his rookie deal, and 2 legit WRs (1 that wanted a trade 5 weeks ago in Diggs) and Rudolph who they just extended to keep him from leaving.

Here’s the thing though, if you think that they will keep Cook, Diggs and Thielen after this year then you don’t know how the salary cap works. You can’t pay everybody.

Bottom line is if our offensive line can freaking stay healthy and play up to their potential then Drew can hit open receivers. Atlanta did a good job of not allowing Drew to ride the pocket and they got good pressure really quick. We didn’t adjust and Peat/Clapp/TA got whooped.

Quite simply, our WRs and TEs were not the issue today or against the Rams when we lost. The issue in most of our losses was and will be our boys on the line getting handled. It doesn’t help that our coaches got out coached, SP admitted that in the post game but the Saints picked a bad week to sleep walk against a desperate team that’s in survival mode.

Who wouldn't want Tre'Quan Smith to be our version of Stefon Diggs lining up opposite of Michael Thomas?

So the passes that Ted Ginn dropped today was on the o line as well? Everything was not on the o line today.

lol ty Stevie Wonder can see the WR problems on this team outside CGM. We cannot even get our second to catch a football much less be a threat. Waaaaaay too many reads where Brees tucks it back in and sacks happen, those are called coverage sacks. Smh
