He set the record for most completions by a player in his first 2 seasons. Im sure he is asking for a deal that might even be record breaker. Jahri Evans will likely get re-structured to a deal that will pay him as if he is a top tier gaurd in this league.
I think that our 39 million was highly decieving. We need to lock up the talent on our team before they leave.
Not to mention Will Smith who IMO, is better than Justin Smith who just landed himself a 45 million dollar deal.
And also, Reggie Bush and Drew Brees will soon enter the "meat and potatoes" part of their deals.
