Justin Simmons would be a solid get for us. We couldn't trade Williams for a king sized kit kat.I’d like to see Quinnen Williams gotten from the Jets for a 2nd rounder and Justin Simmons nabbed from Denver for Williams and a conditional pick (wishful thinking)
Earl’s PFF rating last year was 76.7, that’s pretty good. Not saying that PFF is the end all/be all gospel rating, but I watched a lot of Ravens games last year, and Earl still has a lot to offer. Besides, when a player of his caliber is free, just waiting for an opportunity, it’s one that a team should make. Just my $.02Thomas isn't good anymore and I'm not sure Watt is much of a fit with what we do (he's also not the player he used to be).
At some point, don't we have to question why that's the case?Earl Thomas a free agent
I know we look thin right now at WR but thats only temporary. I'd rather see us make moves on the other side of the ball. We have so many weapons on offense. We've only scored under 30 once this season and that was still 24 pts. Our defense needs help. Here in Houston the media and fans believe that the fire sale is about to start, and the only players off limit are Watson and Tunsil. Who knows, perhaps you shoot for Fuller and get him for cheap.
I like their linebackers and wattI know we look thin right now at WR but thats only temporary. I'd rather see us make moves on the other side of the ball. We have so many weapons on offense. We've only scored under 30 once this season and that was still 24 pts. Our defense needs help.
Indeed but I don't know how much SS he's ever played. I remember Thomas as strictly a centerfield FS.Should be adequate enough to replace what Vonn Bell brought to the team.
Agreed, something had to be boiling over there for them to cut him loose and NOBODY has called him since. At some point, don't we have to question why that's the case?
And no, I don't really care that he flipped off Pete Carroll or whatever........I might flip a few people off too if I had extreme leg pain....... but the Ravens, who (a)have never seemed to have a problem with "spirited" personalities on the roster and (b) are viewed by most as being a Super Bowl contender seemingly had no issues parting ways with someone viewed as one of the best at his position. They're going to completely be done with him over punching a teammate? I certainly don't mean to trivialize that, but I'm also not going to pretend that it's the first time in recorded history that someone has punched a teammate. As with most things, I'm sure there's far more to the story.
