In the Superdome they need to put a noise meter on the lcd screen. This will make fans want to get louder and see levels rise over 100. I thought that was cool last week that cbs showed the noise levels. They need to get fans to know where on the lcd board they put this. It's like the hornets game when they show a therometer looking thing indicating noise levels and shows it going up and down, they crowd gets REALLY loud when they show that and that is a fake meter. I want to see a real meter in the DOME!!! What do ya'll think????

I don't have a link or anything, but I thought I read somewhere that the NFL banned stadiums from using dB meters.

Could be completely wrong though.

I like the idea.

right ....i remember reading or hearing that the PA announcer cant coach the fans to get louder nor can any of the lcd boards in the stadium

I thought it was kinda cool during the CBS broadcast of the game that they would put the decible reader in the corner of the screen. I hadn't seen them do that since the late 80's early 90's.

Here's a better idea, how about we use the display boards for something useful, like instant replays?????? It's like they don't like showing them. I sit in the terrace and it'd be great to see more replays!!!
