I’m not saying Haener will win or change anything but he looks much more poised especially coming in when we were down and the Chargers defense knew we had to pass and we tee’ing off on him.

Haener gets the ball out much faster than Rattler. Haener also looks more accurate with his throws and anticipates the WR routes better.

Again, not saying he’s the future but he looks a lot more ready to play than Rattler does.

I don't think it matters who will play, unless it's Superman with Super powers we still will stink.

Grasping for straws .

It didn't matter, both QB's were as effective as they could be under the circumstances.

Carr won't even make a difference. The play of the guys in front of these QBs is why Carr hasn't played the last 3 weeks, why Rattler didn't have a chance and why the myth of Haener was deflated in 17 minutes of football.

I posted this on the gameday board during that last drive:

So now, the Chargers are going to give the Saints the middle of the field, the Saints will connect on a couple passes, maybe even *gasp* score a TD as time expires and they lose the game, and some will feel validated that Haener moves the ball better.

Then Haener proceeded to get sacked, throw wounded ducks, INT... and looked to me receivers dropped balls for Haener just as they did for Rattler.

Carr, BTW, didn't fare much better after the Cowboys game.

To me, the real fraud here is Kubiak. 1 TD in 2 games. can't adjust. Keeps calling plays that obviously don't work (looking at you, Kamara run through the middle for 0 to -2 yards).

If the "myth of Haener" was deflated in 17 minutes, then the "myth of Rattler" is deflated after 2.5 games of football.

If you disagree with that, then you are obviously biased and using double standards.

But even when some decent plays were called, players dropped catchable passes.

The Kamara drop on the 3rd down prior to Grupe’s miss was a perfect call and would have maybe even gone for a TD and a 4 point game with 6 minutes left.

Everyone is bad. Except Taysom 😆
