The point obviously went right over your head. Yes, the team needs to keep the pedal to the metal, but let’s not expect to go and jump up 30 points on every team we play from here on out. Pump the breaks on expectations. Geez.Touch the Brakes. The last thing we need is any breaks.
Sigmund sends his regards.
I'm just mess'n with ya. You've confused Brake with Break. The point obviously went right over your head. Yes, the team needs to keep the pedal to the metal, but let’s not expect to go and jump up 30 points on every team we play from here on out. Pump the breaks on expectations. Geez.
If Drew goes down Winston takes the field and Taysom Hill will not start at quarterback in his absence unless Winston has a stroke. Taysom has a very important role on this team and he can continue to play it and make it easier for Winston to fill in were Drew to go down.Right now Taysom is an actual part of the game plan and is hopefully going to continue where he left off last week into the playoffs and the Super Bowl. Satisfying our curiosity about Winston seems less important at this point. If there is time to relieve Drew then giving the active contributor the game experience seems like a better choice. Letting Taysom throw a few dozen balls over the next few games will slow the game down for him and help him find a rhythm with the receiving corp. Winston is catastrophic health insurance. In Drew's many years at QB it has only been needed once.
Letting Winston end the game in Tampa was a situational courtesy not really a developmental or demonstration exercise.
But I am not on the team, so it doesn’t effect anything if I take SF for granted. So I’m sticking with 55-27. On second thought, maybe we WON’T miss an extra point, make that 56-27.I think this is counting chickens before they hatch. Let's not take San Fran for granted. Score first, then see.
Being ahead that much going into the 4th quarter is rare in the NFL. But yes I can see the possibility of Winston getting a few series in the 4th quarter once there's little chance of losing the game. However, there seems to be little chance that Winston would get the entire second half unless there really is a health issue with Brees. But if there was a big lead after the first half it would seem like Drew would be feeling pretty good!
I believe the point of his comment went over your head. The point obviously went right over your head. Yes, the team needs to keep the pedal to the metal, but let’s not expect to go and jump up 30 points on every team we play from here on out. Pump the breaks on expectations. Geez.
