i hear what u are saying and i welcome the discussion. i don't think he needs to play 15 years to be on rushmore. He needs to do something that is rare enough to get him on there. winning back to back SB/league MVP in his first 3 years I think would qualify him. Even if he decides he wants to hang it up after winning back to back. He's already dislocated his knee last year and got concussed this year. He's expecting his first born... Walking away after winning #2 ring it would be hard to deny him a spot on there. MOntana and Brady is are there. Manning is usually in the talks. Elway/Marino is heavily debated. I'm saying getting that 2nd one back to back definitely separates him from the crowd....brees/rodgers/eli/russell/ben/etc.
I'm sorry but you are absolutely wrong!
I mean were talking "best of all time" not best qb in the league right now.
I'm sorry but in no professional sports league ever has someone crowned someone the best ever after 3 years.
In any sport, the main ingredient for being considered one of the best ever is longevity and consistency.
Being able to consistently play at an elite level for an extended period of time.
Thats it, its not really a debatable discussion.
You never know what the future holds. Mahomes could get a case of the yips next year and throw 40 int, therefore potentially derailing his career.
Would you put him on mount Rushmore then?
I'll answer.. ABSOLUTELY NOT
People toss greatest of all time out like hotcakes in today's society. Its ridiculous.
Once again, im not trying to attack you or disrespect you in any way. I just completely disagree with your logic, and I think most people would as well.
