On the surface it is somewhat tear jerking and yes it does make me sad. However the analytical part of me looks at this picture and realizes that many dogs hit by vehicles are either in heat or blindly following a female in heat. In all likelihood the dog having such difficulty letting go is a male that was following the now deceased female who was in heat. So while still sad from the point of view that a dog was hit by a car ... what I see is one dog that was a victim of hormones and another dog that is still under the affects of said hormones.

If it did I would think they would not include the photo ... and I am fine with that. The pictures are depressing enough but necrophiliac dogs would be more of a downer for me than a roadkill puppy.
