If you do nothing else today, read the Saints entry in Florio's power rankings (1 Viewer)

22. Saints (5-6; No. 26): Bounty penalty for the team, a pair of second-round picks. Lost revenue for Sean Payton, more than $7 million. Ramming it sideways up the rear end of Gregg Williams, priceless.

Packers (5-6) ranked 14? Yet we are 22nd? We've been in contention to win every game we've lost this year. The packers not so much. Don't get the fascination with the packers.

That was indeed pretty awesome. Maybe its possible that Sean exercised a demon that's been on his shoulder since he returned.

He always talks about young players having something happen that gives them confidence...if it applies to coaches maybe Sunday was a turning point for him.

This assessment is also priceless.

Saints and Chargers are both 5-6. Saints beat the Chargers in San Diego and of their 6 losses, five are to your #2, #4, #5, #7 and #8 teams — four of those by razor thin margins. They also beat Seattle (#6) so how are the Chargers ranked above them?

How are the packers 9 spots ahead of the Saints when they are essentially in exactly the same position in record and standing in their respective divisions? Dumb. I don’t have a problem with the Saints being that low, but the packers deserve to be down there too.
