That and it is one damn game against a 3 and 7 team yeah its our arch rival but still. Lets pump the brakes a little here.

I was most impressed that he seemed to be working through the progressions. He just needs to speed that process up - and only live game experience will make those reads faster.

Rooting for Taysom, but I'd have to say, at best, he was "serviceable" today as a QB.
We also have to keep in mind that we were playing the Falcons.

Defense won this game for us.

Superb? He was BAD in the first half. Couldn’t go through progressions, couldn’t process what the D was doing, etc

2nd half he looked 100 times better. Needs to improve on the deep ball and throwing people open. But, the 2H Hill we can build on. Let’s see what adjustments he makes to his game.

I didn’t know how he would look, but I never doubted his ability. Payton has hinted that Taysom could be the future numerous times. I’m excited to see more because for his first ever start in the NFL, it doesn’t get too much better. Just clean up the fumbles. I’m still going to be a little nervous going forward, but I think he showed us that he has what it takes. Definitely helps to play behind a great line.

Taysom was exceptional today. It really is just incredible. He has that "it" factor. He'a a gamer and a winner. I knew and said all along he was going to be great. Let's give him the credit he deserves.

Don't get me wrong, I enjoy the heck out of what a football guy he is. But it just feels so reckless and against GOOD teams, SP won't be having that.
