I know we are ALL "SICK"! I know it! There is no other explaination BUT "mentally disturbed"!
I WOKE UP this morning and the FIRST thing that crosses my mind is: "WE NEED THIS GAME!"!
Now, I know it's not unusual for a fanatic to have his/her team on their mind some, but I mean I bolted upright and the very first thought that crossed my mind was the thought about how BIG this game is for BOTH teams and that we're going into their house and how a win would be a strong rebound and in the Division and we've resigned FM and what that means along with Lawrie's waiver and can we get the ball to DEUCE more in the open field and on it goes...............
I don't get PAID to put this much energy into thinking about the SAINTS !!
Hell (forgive me Lord) I don't put this much energy into my freaking business ( don't tell my Wifey!)!
So, it's GOOD to be able to come downstairs and hit the Good 'Ol SSF and see a whole COMMUNITY of folks as mentally ill as I am and understand it's an epidemic I only want to get STRONGER in #'s!
Mercy, how we NEED this game! Under coach has-been I would be coughing up blood right now but THIS season I geaux into this ATL game KNOWING we can and WILL beat the snot out of them! Look at our season thus far. As long as we can win the bloody and deadly T/O war ( and THAT is something we can control, so it's a good thing) we will be able to beat this falcons team!
So, as always, I pray for a game with no injuries ( I hate injuries for any team! I wish this game could be played simply with skills and desires and none would ever get injured but I also know that is part of what makes a QB courageous or a Defense so threatening, and WR so fragile). And I pray for a SAINTS WIN!
Should I actually PRAY for them to win? You better believe it!
I have FAITH and I'm so grateful to be able to come here and join in this communion of the other SAINTS faithful too!
Happy Thanksgiving to everyone!
Dr. D!
(BTW: !!!!!!!!! GEAUX SAINTS GEAUX !!!!!!!!)
