Well that's the true question, what does Gayle want to do with the team? I can't imagine she would want to mess with it as is since it's a cash cow right now, but down the line after Bree's is retired what will she do with it. Who knows... Only Gayle.

There is no questions at all. His wife inherited all his assets upon his death. It was in his will, a will that a federal judge found to be valid. Gayle Benson was part owner, and is now Full owner of the Saints and Pelicans.

For the teams Business as usual, but with a heavy heart.

Upon his death, his wishes mean nothing unless she cared about them, which she probably does. Again, I don't see anything happening anytime soon, but you never know.

I think we are in a world of trouble.


No matter how honorable a woman Mrs. Gayle might be (i’ve never met her)— the going rate for an NFL franchise is $1.5- 2 billion and i dont know many ppl who would turn that down if someone in another city offered it to move the team.
