When he did play last year I noticed our defense was quite different, for the better of course.

Since when have we had enough LBs to have trouble getting them all PT? Right now we are having a problem to get these 4 guys on the field needing to use them in different packages to make it happen. If you would even call that a problem then it's a damn good problem to have.

If our LBs can stay healthy our defense will be fine this year. This group is hands down the most talented we have seen since the dome patrol. I think this will be an area of strength for many years to come. It is now not an immediate need for the next few years allowing us to stock up through the draft and let players develop. If Ellerbe can stay healthy then he needs to be a priority for this team to bring back. This years defense will be good but after another draft and a big FA we can really turn this defense into one of the best in the league.

I totally agree. this is one of the best LB corps we've had in years. they just need to stay healthy. We finally have LB's that can cover RB's and TE's. This also helps out the secondary and will allow the DL to get pressure on the QB. This will improve our defense as a whole.
