And living up to a glass half full (hard to do when you dropped the glass of water and the glass shattered) --- here is one possible positive that I am going to hang on to --

At the very least this beating should wash away any thoughts the players had of buying into the love of the experts picking us to win the super bowl and easily make the playoffs. So call this an early wake up call -- thats it -- thats the only positive thing I can find about this game --

If the team dwells on the defeat and bad performance, it would go nowhere. Learn the mistakes and strive to do better next time. I am sure the Saints would play differently next game. And they would play much better if they face the Colts again.
