The problem is giving up 35+ points a game is not winning football.

It's possible to win a game or two, but in the long run no one gets a winning record giving up the kind of points the Saints defense gives up weekly.

I think saints defense played well today at some points but they are not good enough to stop desperate teams. When the saints go up in the score and the opossing team is desperate and will do anything to get a first down our defense isn't consistent enough to stop them.

The falcons are also 4-1 averging 35ppg.


Scoring 35+points are the best chance the saints have with payton and brees. Keeep dreaming if you are waiting on that long-sought after average defense.

We allow alot of points in the dome for the same reason we can score alot in them. As the rules get more sketchy in favor of offense any team playing in a dome with perfect conditions will score more.



That or our defense has just been that bad lol.

They are an awesome defense, but go watch them.

They mug the crap out of people. There's something about good defensive teams that make the refs shy away from calling PI and D holding.

We give up a lot of points because every game we lose a key cog. Today it was Moore, and he was replaced with Dixon. Can't this team go one game where we don't lose a key defensive player?
