Hamilton inactive means we are very pleased with both Bell and Thomas' status. Same for the O-line with having Leckey inactive.

That's great news.

The fact that Malcolm Jenkins is active is great. He has been unbelievable on special teams and lets hope he forces another turnover today. I am a bit suprised at Clancy being inactive, but frankly the last couple of weeks Remi has played very well in the rotation.

Clancy? I hope that means that Ayodele is doing well. He does have a TD. :D

Actually, last week I said Ayodele may keep his job over Clancy and everybody called me crazy! He's almost as good in the running game but brings more to the table, he's younger and cheaper. To me as long as Remi doesn't appear to be a liability in run D, he'll keep the job.

Sort of like what Nicks did to Nesbit?

Yeah but I think it has a lot to do with versatility. Clancy is great against the run but he can't get outside, don't defend passes and can't rush the passer. Remi can do all of that.
My other prediction was that Jenkins will start over Porter before the end of the season...we'll see how this goes.

Wow, Remi picks up a fumble in the endzone and all of a sudden he should start over Clancy?:idunno: i don't what you referring to when you say he can do all that, if you watch today's game you'll know he doesn't stand out and is a below average player at his position.

It has nothing to do with his fumble recovery. First, did you see a drop off on inside runs between Clancy and Ayodele? I didn't but I've also seen Ayodele making a bunch of tackles on outside runs and screen, Clancy rarely do that. Remi also has been able to bring some pressure on the QB when needed, something Clancy doesn't do well. On top of that Ayodele is younger and cheaper....

The fact that Jonathan Casillas has passed Jo Lonn Dunbar on the depth chart is GREAT. The kid must really be making strides. But I still think Troy Evans is our least talented LB.

Dang, I was looking forward to Dinkins helping Bell, Thomas and Bush hit 100+ yards apiece.
