Why would anyone need an indoor camera?

A few reasons.

Ignoring someone trying to avoid your outdoor ones, it sure does prove someone did a B & E if you have a shot of them inside.

Check on the dog, if you have one.

Check on a baby sitter.

Check on the kids.

Maybe find out who the hell has been eating all the food in the middle of the night.

I'm in an apartment complex. I'm not that concerned with outside activity. Except in the rare case we noticed someone had broken the pool area fence.

on your wifi. cable carriers charge for data overages. Usually 1TB or so now.

Just checked. 18gb since March 8th. So not terribly much since that's roughly 2.5 months.
