I wouldn't be surprised if Payton treated PT just like he did Bush up in Seattle. See how the other RB's do through the week, test PT out pre-game and then make him a final scratch come gametime.

I hope I'm wrong, because I have a feeling this will be the week that become a run heavy team with the weather and HOPEFULLY a nice lead come mid-third quarter. It would be great to get him in there for 4-8 carries and see how he does, while letting Ivory carry the bulk of the carries.

Payton said Pierre Thomas has turned a corner in his recovery and his status for Sunday will likely be a game-time decision.

:covri: Translation: PT has stage 4 brain cancer and lost his left leg to gangrene this week.
