The ticker on the bottom of CNN today at lunch said "Billions in tax dollars spent in New Orleans for recovery. The result? Find out tonight on Anderson Cooper 360"

Yeah I'm sure that will be a great episode that depicts the city/region in a very positive light.

The title made me think this was gonna be a country music thread. :)

Ah, give 'em a chance, it might be positive. :dunno:

Anderson Cooper has been very fair to the area and has been real to the story since Day 1. He said he'd be flying here on Wed. to do another 360 episode. If you want a national New Orleans story, there was a good article written by rightwinger extrodinaire Robert Novak about his recent visit here that was posted today (presumably in the Sun-Times or Post).

Thanks for posting Steve -

I sure hope they continue to be successful.

Arnie is still in there it seems as an up and comer maybe.

While he may have been fair in the past the tag line of billions of tax dollars spent in NOLA is going to rub 99% of the country the wrong way and is not right

Edited first post to take into account that it said tax dollars
