Interesting chart of music genre of Billboard's top album 1960 - present (1 Viewer)

ok arse gobblers, who is listening to all of this damn pop music?

I'm stuck in the past. I only listen to tunes from the 80's and 90's (some 00's mixed in).

I have become addicted to new music - it's like I don't even want to listen to something for more than a few weeks. It's become a problem.

(btw I'm not listening to pop)

only newer music i listen to listen to is metal, progressive specifically, and some reggae.

i have a handful of cds (well, mp3s) in my car. body count, legend (marley), night nurse, cranberries gold, illmatic, chaikovsky, and e eternal 1999. probably forgetting one or two, but none of that modern crap.

I still love rock 50's to the 90's. Jack White is about as modern as I get these days.

I'm listening to more old country. The outlaws: Waylon, Willie and the boys.

"Pancho and Lefty" is currently stuck in my head.

Out of kindness I suppose . . .

I tend to always favor songwriter versions because they’re the most authentic. It’s a great song. All versions are good. But it’s Townes’s song.
