Looks like the Jets used him mainly "in the box" last season.
Could be a more versatile version of Roman Harper.

The cool thing about having Maye and Badger is that they both can play box and free... so DA can get creative with his looks. With Marcus Williams he was primarily a FS, but with the versatile safeties that we have now DA will have way too much fun scheming defenses with these guys.

Our defense is going to be ridiculous.

He was not used to his strength last year and the Saints and the rest of the NFL have moved away from the Roman Harper type of players. Moye played deep safety for the Jets like Williams did for the saints before last season and though he's played closer to the line at times he has a skill set similar to Williams which is why he was identified by Loomis in anticipation of losing Williams to Fa much like Honey Badger was when Jenkins retired.

I was thinking about that as well.

Was Saleh putting him in a position to succeed?
Or is he better as a deep safety?
