Interesting Reggie Bush tweets this evening.. (1 Viewer)

Sounds like Reggie might be standing on the sideline more than he wants to. Bell has been a BEAST and Payton loves Thomas, can't blame him, Thomas and Bell get the job done.

tee-hee, here's one that's gonna blow your minds for a while.

What if Coach Payton walked up to Bush and told him, "Hey? Most teams pay attention to twitter, right? I want you to go on and make some tweets that sound like you're disappointed cause you're not getting playing time this week."

Bush: "Wait, I'm not getting playing time this week?!"

Payton: "I just want the Eagles to think that. I'm gonna ram you down their throats Sunday."

@reggie_bush When tough times arise keep your faith in god. Know that he will not put you thru anything you can't handle! Tough times build tough people

Another hard days work...you reep what you put in

Today is a new day! You don't get this day back! Make it count

He also said these after the Lions game. Go read all his tweets, he is very spiritual and is always throwing out quotes to live by and such. He puts some thought into his messages. He has 200,000 followers, so by him sending positive messages and words to live by, maybe he thinks he can uplift a person and do some good. Some of you gusy are absolutely bananas if ya'll think SP would trade Reggie. When the coach speaks at every press conference and validates how important Reggie is to his scheme, do yall think he is just saying that to hear himself speak. Get a grip please. Jeez.

Sometimes I wish SR would allow me to give numerous negative rep points on the same post.

The staff is seeing this as our big chance at a SB run. They're not trading away productive starters for picks. Bank it. Argue if you want whether or not Reggie is productive, but he has over 20 TDs in three years with the Saints. He's going nowhere.

I really doubt that a "trade" is in the works, but 'change', the way he put it, smacks of something kinda big for him. Personal, professional, who knows, but big nonetheless.

I just wanna know WHAT...

I don't think the saints would make such a move as to get rid of Bush now. even with the emergence of Mike Bell I'm sure Coach Payton knows you could never have enough quality running backs on the team ( see the bush and thomas injuries) and besides Bush is a toy that Sean Payton loves to play with so I just don't see the coach giving up one of his favorite offfensive toys... well at least not right now at this point
It's very possible Payton has found a new toy (Bell).

It's more of a projection of what those people want rather than what is likely to happen. These people say Reggie is so bad, yet think that teams are just WAITING to give us boatloads of draft picks for him. Makes a lot of sense, doesn't it?

So we go through the season with Thomas, Bell, and Hamilton? I don't see that. Plus every time Reg is in the offense, the D has to account for him because he's so dangerous. It's a great way to create deception.

Reg is valuable even when he's not playing well.

I honestly just think it is Reggie talking about how he knows he has to improve and the way he is playing is just part of God's plan to get him to where he needs to be. He knows what he has to do to succeed in this league!

I'd say Payton would put Reggie on the field more so than Pierre.
