Darren Sharper is only 2 touchdowns away from breaking the single season record for most interceptions returned for a touchdown. Of course he's only 1 away from breaking Rod Woodson's all-time record.

I'm sure when he goes into the HOF he'll go in as a Packer, but we all know this season is potentially his best season ever. Hopefully he tops it off with a ring. Who Dat!

This isn't baseball. You go in as yourself, not as a member of a team.

And what if.........?? he gets 2 SB rings as a Saint??

I would seriously consider that possibility, especially after a season like this one! He won't retire for sure, and would love to play in GW's D for at least a couple more seasons!

If the Saints win a SB this year.....I would bet they would be the favorites to repeat!

If we win a SB and he plays here a few good years, he may consider going into the HOF a Saint. I wouldn't be surprised.

He needs 2 interception returns for TD's to break Woodson's record....Woodson has 12 and Sharper has 11 at this time.

We covered this in another thread and I think the numbers came out to him needing

42 yards to break the single season return yardage record
131 yards to break the career return yardage record
2 int TD returns to break the single season record
2 int TD returns to break the career record
9 int's to break the single season record
22 int's to break career record
lead league in int return yardage

If he wins his ring with us I can most definitely seeing him going in as a Saint. I knew when we got him he was good but what he's done is legendary.

Dont forget, everyone says he has a season or two still in him. But i can see him playing for 3 or maybe 4 mainly because out of all of his 586 games, i think he has only missed 4 or 5 due to injuries. Correct me if im wrong though, but it seems like it runs in the family. His brother was a very healthy player throughout his entire career.

And he sleeps in a hyperbariac chamber.
