Filed my taxes on Jan 28. Received refund today, the 6th. 10 days has to be a record or something. I wasn't even expecting it. Now to not spend the money

Same here....It was filed on January 28th and got it this past Monday. I was expecting it in mid February as per the IRS's posting after I filed.

Last year, we were waiting for late information, so it was March before ours went in. In the meantime, someone was kind enough to use my ss# to submit a fraudulent return. I've been working with the IRS since last April trying to get this resolved. But they have so many of these cases, they are overwhelmed. Still don't have my refund.

Because of that, I couldn't use efile this year. But it went in the mail this week, so hopefully I was able to beat all the criminals.

Whomever it is that does that crap to people . . . I don't know if there is a punishment severe enough.

Im still waiting on my damn W2 from my contracting company. Whats worse is their HR department is on vacation until the end of next week.

Same here. I filed and it was accepted on the 1st. The site says to expect it within 21 days.

Yea we get back between 9 and 12 grand every year. Comes in hand y to pay off or pay down some of our larger bills.
